A scripted comedy podcast about drugs, murder, and other elementary school crimes. 

“Decades ago, Detective Mystery Jones was shamed into obscurity after failing to apprehend his greatest enemy. Now, 30 years later, the new playground private eye in town, young Investigator Chrissy, brings Mystery Jones back into the mystery-solving game. Together they solve the heinous and dangerous crimes that plague Brower Elementary each and every week.”

I made this podcast in 2018 to explore the continuing adventures of the characters I created in Film School. I pictured weekly adventures a la my favorite kid detectives growing up (Cam Jansen, Jigsaw Jones, The Olsen Twins) but with an immature and irreverent twist.

I wrote out 7 episodes with my friend Justin Dodd (who also portrays Mystery Jones), and we recorded 6 of those with a group of our talented friends voicing the other roles. We finished and released 5 of the episodes (and a trailer) in fall 2018. 4 of those episodes are still available (we decided to remove 1 after a few years of hindsight). We stopped making them for a few reasons, but I would love to jump back into the story and keep it going sometime soon.

I might even release the secret 6th episode sometime.
